Dell Developing TD-SCDMA Smartphone

Michael Yang, global VP and Greater China GM of consumer business, has confirmed that Dell will release a TD-SCDMA handset but could not reveal a specific timetable. Yang added that the handset will be priced no higher than RMB 4,000.
Editor's Note: He Zhili, marketing director for China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK), said China Mobile will provide Dell with an 18% subsidy for the handsets.
