Under China Mobile's WAP Crackdown, SPs Resort to Bulk SMS

A number of wireless value-added service providers have revealed that following China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) recent WAP service policy changes, they have begun shifting their focus to bulk SMS services. The SPs said, however, that they do not expect the WAP service crackdown to last very long; after the WAP market becomes stable again, they intend to readjust their services accordingly.
