Sogou and Qunar Join Forces

Chinese search engine Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU) subsidiary Sogou has reached a strategic partnership with Chinese travel search engine Qunar to provide travelers with map-based travel product search and comparison services. The new services could reduce travel search times by up to 70%, and assist internet users in selecting travel products. The new services are targeted at existing Sogou Map users, and will combine Sogou's geographic information and Qunar's travel information services, with hotel and flight information from Qunar displayed on Sogou's maps, and product comparison and reservation services provided.

Sogou Maps currently has 50 mln users, and handles 60 mln searches per day.
