Rumor: Baidu Establishes Online Gaming Division

According to informed sources, Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has established a third major internal division devoted to online gaming, and the company will begin large-scale online gaming operations.

Individuals close to the matter have said that Baidu is already filling out the division's personnel, and hopes to expand the division to nearly 100 people. The source said that Baidu is already in contact with major domestic game companies, and hopes to jointly operate online games.
