China National Software Acquires Great Wall Computer Software

Chinese software developer China National Software & Service (ChinaSoft or CS&S) (600536.SH) signed an agreement yesterday to acquire Great Wall Computer Software and Systems from three Great Wall Group subsidiaries as well a private investor. Great Wall Technology (0074.HK), Great Wall Computer Shenzhen (000066.SZ), Great Wall Information Industry (000748.SZ) and private investor Jiang Bo each sold their shares in Great Wall Computer Software and Systems (34.9%, 34.51%, 29.6% and 0.99%, respectively, totaling 100%) to CS&S for a total price of RMB 133 mln. Once the deal is completed, Great Wall Computer Software and Systems will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of CS&S and be integrated with the parent company’s development plans regarding marketing, technology, products, services and human resources.
