Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) announced today that its video subsidiary will be called "Qiyi," (meaning roughly "Fantastic Art"). Qiyi CEO Gong Yu said that the company's preparations are proceeding smoothly, and that the site will go online in March.
Qiyi's logo, which incorporates the Chinese characters for the company's name and its English domain name (qiyi.com), was unveiled at the same time.
