Shanda Online to Launch Cloud Computing Services

Chairman and CEO Chen Tianqiao of Chinese internet company Shanda Interactive (Nasdaq: SNDA) has officially announced Shanda's industry-targeted cloud service.
Chen said that Shanda Online is working to build an internet-based platform to provide cloud computing services for third-party content providers.
Services will include: user-centric services including billing, authentication, registration, payment, promotions, customer service, and content distribution, as well as communications and social services for clients including e-mail, instant messaging, and SNS services. Shanda will also offer data analysis and mining services.
