Changyou Launches SNS in Open Beta

Changyou (Nasdaq: CYOU), the online gaming subsidiary of Chinese internet company Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), has launched its SNS platform Cyou.com in open beta. Cyou.com is integrated with Changyou's self-developed 2.5D martial arts-style MMORPG Tian Long Ba Bu (Dragon Oath), and is essentially identical in content and structure to rivals Kaixin001 and Renren. Cyou.com has special Tian Long Ba Bu-specific features, allowing users to display details of their character on their Cyou profiles.
Cyou.com said it will progressively release more SNS applications for the site.
