China's 2009 Rural Appliance Program Sales Reach RMB 65 Bln

China Securities Journal, 3/04/10

China's Ministry of Finance reports that, in a summary of the government's progress on the rural household appliance subsidy program for 2009, Minister Xie Xuren said that according to preliminary statistics, the program saw total sales volume of 34.5 mln units worth RMB 64.7 bln, for which the government distributed subsidies totaling RMB 7.54 bln.
