Hanvon Unveils Multi-Touch Tablet

Chinese e-reader maker Hanvon (002362.SZ) has launched its first tablet PC nationwide, the Touchpad, establishing a second product line to accompany e-readers. Touchpad comes pre-installed with Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system and features 2 GB of memory, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, a 1.3 megapixel 1080p video camera with face recognition support, a 10.1" LED backlight panel multi-touch display with resolution of up to 1024 x 600, and a MiniHDMI interface for VGA to HDMI connections. The Touchpad is 18mm thick and weighs approximately 960 grams (2.12 pounds).
