Rumor: Chinese Ticketing Sites Obtain 3rd-Round Funding

According to an industry source, Chinese online ticket services Piao.com.cn and Damai.cn (both operated by Hongma Media), have received a third round of funding, and the company will announce details of the investment soon. The company had previously refused two acquisition offers from Ticketmaster.
A source at Damai.cn said that the site did nearly RMB 100 mln in business in 2005.
Cao Jie, founder of express delivery company PonyEx, is the founder of both Piao.com.cn and Damai.cn. PonyEx withdrew from the express delivery market in October 2009.
