Rumor: Hulu CEO to Meet with Chinese Video Sites

A rumor is circulating that Hulu CEO Jason Kilar will visit China in the near future. After arriving in Beijing, Kilar will reportedly meet with management from several domestic online video companies for closed-door talks. The source of the rumor said that Gong Yu, CEO of Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) video site Qiyi, is among the people invited to the talks; Qiyi has officially confirmed this report. The China head of Providence Equity Partners and representatives from video sites Youku and Joy.cn will reportedly also take part in the talks.
