Rumor: Foxconn to Acquire Chengdu Browser Game Firm

According to industry sources, Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn (2038.HK; 2354.TW) is currently in negotiations to acquire Chengdu-based game developer Handseeing Information Technology. Foxconn declined to comment, while Handseeing did not deny the rumors, and neither party was willing to reveal further information.
Handseeing is focused on development and promotion of browser games. The company has released one product, browser-based MMORPG Qingcheng, and plans to release another 7-8 games in the second half of this year.
