Alibaba to Provide Taobao Export Service

Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba Group has announced that its B2C and C2C e-commerce platform Taobao and Alibaba's small-order international B2B wholesale platform AliExpress will jointly release a "Tao Export" service.

According to Alibaba, Taobao sellers will be able to convert product listings on their Taobao shops into English format with a click of a button, with prices displayed in USD. New sellers who are not already on Taobao can sign up for the service just as they would to open a new Taobao seller account.

Sellers who face communication barriers in selling their goods overseas will have access to real-time translation services through the international version of AliTalk, the web-based version of AliTalk, and an on-site inquiry service.

Alibaba said the service will officially launch in the near future, but did not give a specific date.
