Linekong to Establish Branch Office in North America

Linekong chairman and CEO Wang Feng said recently that the online game developer and operator has signed more than USD 4 mln worth of overseas deals for its 2D MMORPG "Journey to the West," which has seen overseas PCUs of 5 mln users. The company is also in ongoing talks for overseas licensing rights to its MMORPG "Ashes of Time," which recently entered steady-state beta testing.

While discussing overseas operations, Wang said that the company considers the North American market to have great potential, and revealed that Linekong is planning to establish a North America subsidiary to oversee product operations. Wang said that the company would hold a press conference to announce further information about the plan at the Chinajoy gaming expo to be held July 29-August 1 in Shanghai.
