Baidu Hooks E-Commerce Sites into Aladdin

Chinese online search company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has confirmed that it has begun trial operation of a commercial goods search service, now accepting data from a select group of invited e-commerce sites. 17 e-commerce sites have already joined, including 360Buy, Joyo Amazon, and Dangdang. The service is part of Baidu's "Aladdin" deep web search initiative.
