China Mobile: 6 Mln TD-SCDMA Handsets Sold

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) terminal division general manager Wu Weining revealed yesterday that China Mobile now offers over 40 different models of TD-SCDMA smartphone, and total sales of TD-SCDMA handsets reached approximately 6 mln as of the end of June 2010.
Editor's Note: As of the end of June, China Mobile reported having a total of just under 10.5 mln TD-SCDMA subscribers, accessing the network using various different types of device (e.g. mobile handsets, data cards, netbooks, wireless wireline phones, etc.)
