GAPP: China's Online Gaming Revenues to Grow 30% in 2010

Sun Shoushan, vice-director of China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP), announced at the 8th Annual China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference (ChinaJoy) in Shanghai today that revenues from China's online gaming industry are expected to continue to grow by approximately 30% this year. Domestically-developed games are expected to continue leading the market and account for over 50% of revenue growth. Revenue from overseas online game operations is expected to exceed RMB 200 mln in 2010.
