Huawei Dual-Mode LTE Smartphone Due in 2011

Zhao Zhongze, VP for LTE products at Chinese telecom equipment maker Huawei's Shanghai R&D campus, revealed that Huawei's first dual-mode TDD (TD-SCDMA) and FDD (LTE) LTE data card will be unveiled in Q2 of next year, with a dual-mode LTE smartphone to follow for a Q3 or Q4 release. Huawei will attempt to capture global smartphone market-share with the USD 150 smartphone.
