China Telecom Launches Mobile Gaming Platform

China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) has opened a gaming operation center in Zhejiang province and simultaneously unveiled its E-Game ("Ai Youxi") mobile gaming platform. E-Game is an E-Surfing brand comprehensive gaming service including games for "three screens" (handsets, PC and TV) and handset-based gesture gaming.

E-Surfing subscribers can use E-Game either by logging into wapgame.189.cn or installing the E-Game mobile application client. A spokesperson for the gaming operation center said China Telecom will pre-install E-Game on all operator-customized handsets, as well as officially launch a revenue sharing plan for developers in September.
