Sohu CEO to Manage Microblog Product

At an emergency meeting yesterday afternoon, Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU) CEO Charles Zhang said that the Chinese internet company had "fallen behind," adding that its microblogging product was "embarrassing to talk about." Zhang expressed his hope that Sohu microblogs would achieve the popularity of Sina's (Nasdaq: SINA) rival service.
Zhang said that he himself would personally take over the management of Sohu's microblogging service.
