Cisco Moves Router, Switch Production to China

Qi Ruifeng, VP and GM of public affairs for Cisco China, today revealed that Cisco will move the bulk of its router and switch manufacturing to China. Qi said that Cisco has already obtained the necessary permits for local operations from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). China already accounts for over 25% of Cisco's global production volume.
