Shanda Unveils StumbleUpon Clone

Tencent Tech, 11/18/10

Chinese online game developer and operator Shanda Interactive (Nasdaq: SNDA) has released a social bookmarking StumbleUpon clone called "Guang Yi Guang" ("Strolling"). Users of the platform (123.sdo.com) receive recommendations of websites they might like based on sites they bookmark on the platform.

The platform requires a Shanda Online account and is integrated with microblogging platform Shanda Candy, allowing users to share their favorite websites with their followers. Guang Yi Guang also has a "check-in" feature, announcing on the users' profile when he or she has bookmarked a new website.
