GAPP Intervenes in 360Buy, Dangdang Price War

Liu Qiangdong, CEO of Beijing-based IT products B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy, has disclosed that China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) has brought 360Buy and rival Chinese B2C e-commerce site Dangdang (NYSE: DANG) together to discuss their recent online book price war.

GAPP did not declare a position, but wishes to avoid any market disruption.
