BCD Semiconductor Files for IPO

BCD Semiconductor Manufacturing Limited (BCD) has announced plans to offer 6 mln American Depository Shares in an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Market at an offering price between USD 10.5 and USD 12 under the ticker symbol "BCDS."

BCD Semiconductor, founded in 2000 and headquartered in Shanghai, with other offices in China, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, primarily manufactures power management semiconductors for the Asian electronics industry. For the year ended December 31, 2009 and the nine months ended September 30, 2010, BCD's total revenue was USD 100.8 mln and USD 101.3 mln, respectively, and net income was USD 6.9 mln and USD 16.7 mln, respectively.
