State Grid, CAS, GE Cooperate on Smart Grid Standards

State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), China Academy of Sciences (CAS), and General Electric recently signed a joint strategic memorandum to cooperate on smart grid technology standards. According to the agreement, the three parties will cooperate to develop standards for electric vehicle charging, sensors, distributed power generation, and microgrid technology, as well as exchange technical knowledge, jointly hold technology forums, and jointly propose national and international standards.
