Taobao Mall Store Sportica Wins Eight Figure RMB Funding

Wu Shihui, CEO of Taobao Mall online store Sportica (sportica.taobao.com), confirmed today that the store had received several tens of millions of RMB in first-round funding from Legend Capital. Details of the investment will be announced soon, Wu said.
Sportica is an all-in-one clothing brand enterprise combining R&D, production, and marketing with a manufacturing base in Zhangping, Fujian province. The store opened on Taobao Mall in April 2008.
