Beijing-based IT products B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy today launched e-commerce sales channels for audiovisual consumer products and online literature.
The audiovisual products channel is split into three categories: music, video, and education. Music has over 30 categories, including popular, classical, and rock, while video offers over 20,000 products in 12 categories including films, TV programs, children's programming, and documentaries. The education section has nearly 10,000 products in 20 categories including English language study, teaching and learning aids, and practice exams.
The online literature channel offers the latest industry news and book reviews, and is aimed at assisting customers in making selections by providing free book excerpts to read online.
Shi Tao, assistant director of book acquisitions at 360Buy, said that the company has ambitions to enter the e-book content market, saying that online book sales and digital literature are quite closely connected and that 360Buy will definitely begin to sell digital literature for e-books in the next 3-5 years.
