Ku6 Partners with Xinhua News Agency

Chen Feng, VP of Chinese online video site Ku6 (Nasdaq: KUTV), has revealed that Ku6 will formally enter into a strategic partnership with Chinese government news agency Xinhua's video website. The move will make Xinhua video content available to Ku6 users via the web, client applications, WAP, and mobile internet.

Ku6 will now have priority access to Xinhua video news content at the time of broadcast, and access to Xinhua's Chinese-language TV programming and transcripts and English-language news video content, including that from the financial channel of Xinhua's China Xinhua News Network Corporation (CNC), which is operated by Xinhua's China Finance Corporation. Ku6 will also obtain the rights to Xinhua news photos and text.
