According to industry sources, China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) is mulling over a new service for its 3G handsets; a handset customization service that would design the customer's phone exterior according to his or her own tastes. After nearly a year of preparation, China Telecom's mobile phone customization service is ready and should be released in the next few days.
