Chinese online game developer and operator Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) today began open beta testing of its self-developed 3D turn-based MMORPG Westward Journey: Genesis (Chuangshi Xiyou). Netease says that it has taken 5 years (from 2006 up until today's release) and more than RMB 100 mln to develop the game.
