Konka Unveils Over Thirty 3D Smart TVs

Chinese television and consumer electronics manufacturer Konka (200016.SZ, 000016.SZ) recently released five new 3D smart TV product lines featuring over thirty new models, including the 988PD, 11PD, 97D, 96PD and the 95D.

Konka's new 3D smart TVs, which feature an open source operating system, allow users not only to view traditional TV programming, but also to search for online content and download and install plug-in applications. Konka's smart TV sets also come equipped with anti-virus software, providing functionality such as document scanning, system restore, and file system clean-up.

Konka is also cooperating with Shanghai Media Group's IPTV and internet TV subsidiary BesTV to provide free 3D internet TV content.
