Chinese Internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has entered into partnership with Chinese domain name service provider and registrar DNSPod so that any site registered with DNSPod will be immediately indexed in Baidu search results. In the past, there would be a delay before newly registered domains would appear in Baidu's search results. Using DNSPod data, Baidu spiders will now be able to more quickly and efficiently capture and archive web pages under standard domains. Commenting on the news, one site administrator said, "Now, all a new website needs to do to be picked up by Baidu spiders is register once, saving the site advertising and promotion costs."
