China Mobile Lowers GoTone Fees, Unveils New Packages

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) announced in Beijing today that it is lowering GoTone calling fees nationwide and releasing new data and voice calling plans. China Mobile also unveiled new a la carte WVAS packages for SMS, MMS, mobile music, mobile literature, mobile paper, and information services alongside increased minutes and data limits, while simultaneously lowering fees by 15% or more.

For example, a RMB 128/month GoTone mobile internet calling plan includes 400MB, suitable for smartphone users.

The new GoTone packages also include China Mobile's new single nationwide rates for long-distance, local and roaming outbound calls as well as free inbound calls.
