Hu'ai Raises Eight-Digit RMB Second-Round Funding

Huang Jian, president of Beijing-based social game developer and operator Hu'ai Technology, has revealed the company has completed first-round funding and recently began raising several tens of millions of RMB in second-round funding.

Hu'ai's self-developed social game Hulai Sanguo debuted on Tencent's (0700.HK) SNS Pengyou in late 2010, and then launched on Qzone in March 2011. The game is expected to reach over 10 mln active users in H1 2011. The company's development team comprises more than 100 people.

According to an industry source, Tencent has highlighted Hulai Sanguo as one of the applications on its SNS open platform that has a monthly revenue share of more than RMB 10 mln.
