Rumor: China Mobile to Offer iPhone 5 in September

A source inside China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) claimed on the company's Sina Weibo microblog yesterday that the operator would begin offering the iPhone 5 this September. The posting was deleted after being re-posted on several dozen other microblogs. China Mobile has not made any official comment on the posting.
Apple COO Tim Cook visited China Mobile headquarters on June 22.
