Microsoft to Authorize Office 365 Partners in China

Sina Tech, 7/01/11

Ingo Friedrichowitz, general manager for Microsoft's Information Worker Business Group in the Greater China region, recently revealed that Microsoft China will begin forming partnerships with companies seeking authorization to market Microsoft services such as its Office 365 cloud-hosted application suite to small- and medium-sized enterprises. The partnership model is aimed at increasing orders for applications contained in the Office 365 suite such as Office Professional Plus, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync Online.

The Office 365 cloud-hosted office application suite was recently unveiled by Microsoft, which held formal launches for the product in over 40 countries around the world. China was not among those countries.
