Netease E-Mail to Come Pre-Installed on iPhones

William Ding, CEO of Netease (Nasdaq: NTES), said at a recent press event that in September, the Chinese internet company would work with Apple to pre-install support for Netease mailboxes on Apple mobile phones. Ding said that Netease mailbox users have average monthly incomes of RMB 3,500 or above, adding that the company felt no threat to its lead in user numbers or user activity from competitor Tencent's (0700.HK) QQ Mail.
Ding also said that Netease was exploring the possibilities of integrating Netease microblogs and other products with its mailbox service.
