MIIT Considering 3400-3600 MHz Spectrum for TD-LTE

Yan Runtian, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) Radio Administration Bureau, said at the TD-LTE Network Technology Symposium in Beijing today that MIIT was considering using the 3400-3600 MHz band for TD-LTE.

In the ongoing large-scale TD-LTE trials, the MIIT has said that testing will be conducted using the 2570-2620 MHz band.
