Aigo Unveils Consumer Cloud Services

Netease Tech, 9/09/11

Feng Jun, chairman of Chinese consumer electronics company Beijing Huaqi (Aigo), today unveiled the company's AigoCloud service, offering users the chance to share and synchronize content across multiple devices using the same account. Aigo products featuring the service will reach the market in H2 2011.

Users can synchronize content on AigoCloud with their PCs, as well as upload photos from their mobile phone to the cloud, where they can improve it with photo editing software.

AigoCloud's pricing will be 30% less than Apple's iCloud service, and will also include 10GB of free space for each user. Aigo's cloud services will be provided by Beijing-based cloud solutions provider Smart Cloud Technologies.
