Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) yesterday announced the launch of its e-commerce directory platform (mall.360.cn). The site currently offers apparel, group buy, consumer electronics, luxury, general merchandise, furniture, cosmetics, childcare, bags, footwear, and other products. B2C e-commerce sites and brands already partnered with Qihoo 360's new platform include 360Buy, Dangdang (NYSE: DANG), Vancl, Mecox Lane (Nasdaq: MCOX), Yihaodian, Mbaobao, Xijie and Yintai. Qihoo 360's platform also offers basic search queries allowing users to find products described with a given keyword, such as "clothing," and provide links to the relevant pages on third-party B2C sites.
