Rumor: Meituan Adopts Automated Merchant Payment System

Chinese group buy site Meituan has adopted an automated merchant payment system, according to a source within Meituan, to settle accounts promptly.
According to the source, merchants can receive payment based on completed sales on two days per month of their choosing, or begin receiving automatic payments based on user and sales data once at least 15% of their inventory has sold. Meituan is reportedly the only group buy site to employ an automated system.
