Hisense Launches Personal TV Tablet

Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense (600060.SH) recently launched the I'TV M1101, a tablet series positioned as "the body of a tablet, the heart of a TV," as part of its Hisense personal television product line. The tablet features an iPad-like frosted aluminum body, a 10.1" 1200x800 LCD multi-touch display supporting up to ten multi-touch inputs, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz processor and eight-core GeForce GPU powering an Android 3.2 system. Hisense partnered with CNTV and other online television sites to provide 35 live pre-loaded feeds of CNTV 1-13, Hunan Satellite, Jiangsu Satellite, and Five Star Sports, among other channels. Hisense's exclusive multi-screen viewing feature will allow users to carry content from their living room televisions with them on their I'TV tablets for mobile viewing, or to finish watching content from their I'TV tablets on their full-sized TV sets.
