HP Labs China to Focus on Context-Aware Analysis

HP, 1/05/12

HP Labs China recently received approval from HP Labs headquarters to make context-aware analysis - environment-aware network services - its primary R&D task for the next three years. HP Labs China will focus its research on three environments - network systems, HP consumers, and internal company environments. Network environment awareness research will utilize HP Network Group's and Hangzhou-based IP technology and solutions provider subsidiary H3C's products. Consumer environment awareness research will use HP's Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) products - specifically the ImageWare IWS Biometric Engine. Enterprise environment awareness research will use HP Enterprise Security's ArcSight and HP's business technology optimization (BTO) products.
