China Mobile Begins 1.3 Mln Unit WLAN Equipment Tender

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK), recently began procurement of WLAN products for the 2012 year. The tender for approximately 1.29 mln devices included two main groups; 802.11n Access Points and Access Controllers. China Mobile stated that at present, China Mobile Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide totaled 1.6 mln, and within the next three years will build to approximately 6 mln.
