Ctrip Invests in Hotel Reservation Website

Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip's (Nasdaq: CTRP) public relations department confirmed today that the site has made a strategic investment in hotel booking platform Songguo.com, which is set to launch on February 18. The company has not yet revealed the size of its investment.

80% of the chain hotels, guesthouses, themed inns, and small-scale hotels available for booking through Songguo offer standard room rates of RMB 200 or lower.
