Google Launches Ad Exchange Platform in China

Tencent Tech, 4/10/12

Google launched its DoubleClick Ad Exchange advertising exchange platform in China today, enabling real-time transactions between ad networks, ad agents, and online ad publishers.

Ad Exchange offers ad agents advertising resources enabling them to target ads at their preferred demographics through real-time open bidding.

DoubleClick Ad Exchange's real-time bidding technology enables publishers selling advertising space to reach more advertisers, offers options from buying target media to buying target audiences, and allows ad networks and ad agents to base their CPI display bids on the data and technology it provides.

Chinese internet portals Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) and Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), and e-commerce site Taobao are reportedly among the companies that have joined the DoubleClick Ad Exchange platform.
