Hisense, Alibaba Cooperate on Cloud Computing

On May 8, Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense (600060.SH) and Alibaba Group subsidiary Alibaba Cloud Computing ("AliCloud") signed a partnership agreement. The two companies will develop partnerships in areas including cloud computing infrastructure services, cloud television operating systems, smart TV applications, and smart transportation. Hisense's smart TVs will offer users an improved experience by using cloud storage and cloud server services from AliCloud, strengthening cloud-end service capabilities, while AliCloud will gain access to Hisense's tens of millions of customers.
