Peony Electronic Sells BOE-Made LED TV Sets on 360Buy

Beijing-based manufacturer Peony Electronic has announced that the company has begun selling a 32-inch TV set, manufactured by Chinese TFT-LCD manufacturer BOE Technology Group (000725.SZ), on B2C e-commerce site 360Buy.
Established in 1973, Peony was one of China's first major TV manufacturers, with market share exceeding 50% in the 1980s. In 2008, Peony abandoned traditional manufacturing and transitioned to providing DTV app standards, technology, products, and services. In 2009, Peony formed a DTV national project R&D laboratory with Tsinghua University, BOE, and consumer electronics manufacturer Haier in Beijing's Zhongguancun DTV Industrial Park.
