A source at Hangzhou-based C2C & B2C e-commerce site Taobao revealed recently that the company plans to officially launch a Taobao mobile application store in July, offering app downloads for Android handsets. The app store (yy.taobao.com) is currently in closed beta, and has already received thousands of app uploads from developers.
